8 February 2024 Nelson to Greymouth, South Island NZ

In the morning, Murry handed David a roll of duct tape he had found in their van and David taped garbage bags off the windows to make them water tight and block the wind. We waited until 10 for Wilderness Motorhomes to call and we finally called them. They had not even looked at the pictures yet. They told us to proceed on to our next destination and they would get hold of us. So, we packed up, said our goodbyes to Murry and Sharon and headed towards Greymouth. On the way, we detoured to Nelson Lake National Park and stopped in the visitor center and then down to Lake Rotoiti for some pictures. There was a black swan that took a liking to Leslie and she wanted to take it with us. Then it was on to Greymouth. We received an email from Wilderness Motorhomes which we immediately replied to. The drive to Greymouth took much longer than we expected due to the winding nature of the roads. We arrived in Greymouth around 6:30, tired from the long drive. We still had not heard back from Wilderness Motorhomes, so we will contact them again in the morning. We are staying at the Greymouth Seaside TOP 10 Holiday park. This park is pretty new and the bathrooms and showers were the best we have had yet.
