The drive to Te Anau took us along the shores of
Lake Wakatipu for about half the way. We are staying in Te Anau to break up the drive to Milford Sound. After we arrived in Te Anau and checked in at the Te Anau TOP 10 Holiday Park, we strolled into downtown area of town and explored the shops. We stopped in at The Ranch bar for a pint and ended up staying for dinner as well.
