We received an email from Wilderness Motorhomes telling us that they had arranged for a company in Queenstown to look at the mirror. We had to stop and see “That Wãnaka Tree” on the way out of town. The tree sits in the lake about 80 yards from shore. It used to be much bigger than it is now, but people have swum out and climbed on the tree breaking off branches. Someone even cut two large limbs off. Then we headed for Queenstown and Central Glass company. They looked over the situation and cut a new mirror pane, glued it to the old ruminates of the damaged mirror and reinstalled it. All in about 15 minutes! Then we found an auto store that sold Diesel Exhaust Fluid (known here as AdBlue) and filled up the motorhome DEF tank. Next we found a good grocery store and stocked up with enough food to get through our last week. With it still being early, we headed for Gibbston Valley winery and did a tasting. It was the first time we have been disappointed in the wines here in New Zealand. We then headed for Arrow Town. Arrow Town is a former Gold Rush Town that has been resurrected into a tourist destination. While walking through the town, we stumbled across the New Orleans Hotel which was showing the Superbowl in their bar. So we stopped in and watched the end of the game while drinking some local spirits. Then it was on to our campground for the night. We are staying at the Queenstown Holiday Park Creeksyde.
