We both woke feeling a bit better after a good nights sleep. The drive to Tilba remined us of driving through Kentucky with rolling wooded hills interspersed with ranches and farms. We arrived at the Tilba Lake House in late afternoon. We were impressed by the wonderful gardens around the resort. We arrived after they had closed the office but left instructions on where to go. We were assigned to “The Apartment” at the end of the building. We were very happy with the accommodation. It was spacious. We were surprised to find a loaf of bread from the local bakery and a breakfast box in the refrigerator with sausages, eggs, butter, jam and a bottle of milk, all from local sources! We had to try the bread immediately and it was delicious! There was of course a resort dog that stopped by to greet us and give us some fur therapy. It is a very relaxing location.
