3-7 April 2023 Las Cruces to Albuquerque NM

We had high winds all day on the trip up from Las Cruces (25 MPH with gusts to 50MPH), but luckily, they were tail winds and helped push us up hill! We are staying at our normal American RV Resort ($67 per night) on the west side of town. It’s easy to get into and out of and there is easy access to everything we like to do in the area. The winds on Tuesday were even worse (30-35 MPH with gusts to 70MPH), so mush show we put the satellite TV antenna down to avoid damaging it and filled up the fresh water tank to weigh the Wanderer down. Then the temperature plunged into the 20s. Wednesday the winds finally died out, but David’s back was still hurting (but getting better slowly) so we stayed in and worked on our income taxes. Thursday was another work day for David and Leslie went and got her hair done. But that evening we went to one of our favorite local restaurants, El Pinto for a wonderful dinner. Friday we slept in for some reason and used the day to finish up taxes, file insurance forms and generally catch up on all the paper work living requires one to do once in a while.
