We took Etta back to the vet in the morning and did another set of x-rays. They could see bits and pieces of corn cob moving through her intestines but nothing look blocked. So, they gave her another round of subcutaneous fluids and told us that if she started to vomit again, to get her to a 24 hour emergency hospital. We went back to the Wanderer and packed up. Before we pulled out, we went down to say goodbye to Bob and Reba, a couple we had met a couple of days earlier. Then we stopped to say goodbye to the owners, Anne and Gary, who had been very hospitable and willing to help us with Etta. The drive to Lake Glen was pretty normal. Earlier in the week, David had noticed the front tires were wearing wrong, so we planned to get an alignment while in Lake Glen. Etta was acting her normal self on the drive so we hoped we were past the concerns with the corn cob. We are staying at the Lake George RV Resort ($159 per night, no discount). It’s a very large RV resort with two lakes, two pools and hundreds of sites. Water pressure is good (60lbs) but the WiFi is slow compared to other parks. Otherwise, it seems like a nice place. It is obviously intended to be a destination resort with lots of stuff for the kids.
