We drove from Niagara Falls to a resort in Cold Brook, New York. It was an easy drive along the New York throughway. We are staying at the Adirondack Gateway Campground ($37 per night with GSC) in Cold Brook, NY. We picked this park because it was out of the way of the hustle and bustle of 4th of July and because it buts up against the Adirondack State Park. We met the owners, Anne and Gary, when we checked in. They have owned this park for 19 years. It’s a medium size park with only 78 sites but it is quiet and family friendly. We had a pull through site along the main road which was easy to get in and out of with some shade.
