The drive from Kanab to Hatch is only 58 miles but shaves an hour from the drive to Bryce Canyon NP and Cedar Breaks NM. We followed Bill and Pam on the way up. The drive is beautiful, even with a few hills to heat up the transmission oil. We are staying at The River Ranch Hotel and RV Park ($43.26 per night with GSC). The RV Park is just uphill from the Sevier River. With all the snow fall and recent rains, the river is running pretty high and we were warned to stay away from it (IE No Fishing).
