Keira woke us early again this morning (5am), but we knew to get her out quickly this time and there was not an accident. This time we did get back to sleep! When we were at the Indiana Sand Dunes National Park a few years back, we stumbled onto a wonderful bar and grill, in New Buffalo on the shore of Lake Michigan, called “The Stray Dog”. The shirts we bought back then garnered a lot of comments but wore out over time. So, we needed to return and get new shirts. We drove down for lunch today (only 31 miles away). We were seated on the rooftop and enjoyed a wonderful lunch on a beautiful day. Of course, we stocked up on new shirts. Even got one for Keira. Along the way, we noticed signs for the Michigan Lake Shore Wine Trail. We will have to try some of the wineries over the next couple of days.
