Seeing the McPhee Reservoir from the Escalante Ruins gave us an idea for Monday’s adventures. After Mexican Food Sunday at Montezuma’s in Delores, we tried to get to the reservoir but ran into roads that were closed due to the winter season, or we found the water level in the reservoir was so low there was no reasonable way to get to the water without crossing a ½ mile of mud. David was disappointed since he was looking forward to trying out his new Kayak.
