10 May 2019 Let it Snow!

We woke this morning to 3 inches of fresh snow. The dunes in the distance were covered with a layer of snow as was our RV. The temperature warmed up quickly and the snow melted off, even with the low clouds, which hung around all day. David went out to repair the awning over the galley slide out. We noticed Wednesday that the outer cover of the awning roller was hanging out from the end cap. We needed to fix it before we hit the road tomorrow. When David climbed up to see what was wrong, he could see that it had not been installed properly. Of course as he began working on it, the water from the melted snow began draining off on him! Fortunately, David was able install the cover correctly and inspected the other ones from the ground.
