Today we drove from Del Rio to Alpine along US90. It was a relaxing drive with beautiful scenry. The Blue Bells are starting to bloom along with some of the other spring wild flowers. It felt good being back in Big Bend Country! We are staying at the Lost Alaskan RV Park in Alpine ($37.95 a day, no discount, GSC is suspended for the month of March, due to spring break). It’s a nice park, gravel roads and parking sites, with full hook ups and plenty of shade from the Texas sun. We’re here for ten days.
