We found ourselves hunkering down in the Wanderer for four days due to a series of winter storms that swept through the area. It would snow 2-3 inches in the evening through to the morning, then in the afternoon the sun would come out and melt it all off just in time for the next storm to roll in. So it was a great time for David to get a lot of work in. We were watching road status through the high mountain passes to the east of us since that would determine our itinerary for the weekend. While we were only getting 2-3 inches, the mountain passes were seeing 1-2 feet of snow with each storm.
