We woke this morning to snow coming down pretty heavily but it was not sticking where we were since the temperature was above freezing and the ground is warm. David had more telecons in the morning. Through the snow showers we could get occasional views of the dunes and could see snow building up. So we jumped in the truck and drove back into the park. Everything was snow covered and the winds were blowing really hard through Medano Pass into the park making the temperatures bitter. There were very few people in the park and no one was climbing the dunes. We again spotted some deer as we drove back to the Wanderer and warmth. Time to hunker down and wait out the storm.
